Banff in Alberta, Canada, is one of the most stunning places to visit in any season, or even over the weekend. The peaks soar over cobalt blue lakes, and at this time of the year, bears can be seen near freeways in the highland areas. Banff, Jasper, Yoho and Kootenay are very much worth a trip, but remember to respect and stayaway from the plentiful wildlife.
